21stThe Prince of Wales First School and Pre-School will be holding a joint Summer Fete on the 21st May 2005. From 11am till 2pm. Businesses all over Poundbury, Dorchester and the surrounding area have very generously donated many fantastic prizes for all of the stands, the tombola and raffle. Why not come along and have some fun, try penalties at the 'Big Hands Goalie', can you get one past him? Go fishing to win a fish and chip supper, get bowled over at the coconut shy, or find one of 30 amazing prizes on 100 wining characters. All proceeds go directly to buying better equipment for both schools and what can be a better way than raising money, than having a lot of fun.

For Monday 8th August we are organising a FREE trip to PAULTONS PARK, For Poundbury Children Ages 2-12 years (Coach travel & entrance to Paultons Park included). If you have not been to Paultons Park before you won’t be disappointed, there are over 50 rides and attractions suitable for all ages (ask Celia for a leaflet). At least one Parent/Guardian must travel with Children. Parent/Guardian will get FREE coach travel, but will pay £11.50 on the day for entry to Paultons Park (usual price £14.50). The Coach will leave Pummery Square, Poundbury, at 9am and leave Paultons Park at 5pm, arriving back at Poundbury at about 6.15pm.
